After a short break Ambassadors Reception are back with a new compilation, lovingly complied by one of most dedicated diggers on the planet, Albion. "Mixtura" started as series of mixes initially only heard on DJ I-F's internet radio network CBS (now IFM). As the series grew so did the interest in the wonderful music Albion would find and play.
The idea for the compilation originally came about back in 2008, after a hard struggle tracking down artists and label owners (some that couldn't even remember making their own songs) we were eventually able to narrow the project down to the 14 gems collected here on "Mixtura".
Albion has also edited and extended all of the material. This makes "Mixtura" unique and also very DJ friendly. Vinyl lovers should also look out for the limited edition sampler releases.
The track list reads like a dream list and will have some of the most seasoned cosmic nerds scratching their heads as well as rubbing their hands with delight.
Synthesizer, library's, disco, psyche and funk all play their part in this amazing selection from Albion. Just take one listen and you'll be hooked
